Top Tips to    Engage Parents

This recorded training session is designed for Primary teachers, Headteachers and English Leaders and takes approximately 1 hour to complete. Research consistently shows that parental engagement is strongly linked to pupils’ academic outcomes (Sir Kevan Collins).  T This training provides practical, innovative and realistic approaches to engaging parents effectively. Drawing on examples from successful schools, the session explores how to shift parental involvement from passive participation to active engagement with children’s learning. Participants will explore strategies that are easy to implement, sustainable and impactful, supporting both classroom practice and whole-school approaches. The focus is on what works in real school contexts, helping leaders and teachers strengthen partnerships with families in ways that improve outcomes for pupils. This training equips schools with clear ideas, proven practice and actionable next steps to enhance parental engagement and support learning beyond the classroom.
